I was elected President of my students’ union in 2013 and to say I was thrown in at the deep end would be an understatement! Alongside working on the promises in my manifesto, I was at the start of what would become a quite lengthy turnaround process for the Students' Union.

After two years as President, I left the students’ union to complete my MBA and then work in Management Consulting specialising in Financial Services. I have led on projects, managing various implementation strategies for Banks across different functions, developing good governance models and process improvements. I have also worked in the support and development of newly hired associates.

I lead the Student Governor Support Programme for Coole Insight supporting student governors in their development and to make the most of their role.
