I stumbled into the world of Students' Unions quite unexpectedly, initially driven by a keen interest in HE policy. As an avid student campaigner, I found myself engaged in scrutinising the newly introduced Teaching Excellence Framework - which ended up in facilitating a London wide university conference addressing the HE White Paper and response with other Students' Unions and interested academics. Little did I know that this involvement would become the cornerstone of my SU journey.

I became very passionate about understanding and improving the student experience, recognising the impact that unions could have in effecting change. This led me through various roles within Student Voice until I eventually found myself leading a small Research & Insight Team at the Union of Kingston Students. I spearheaded efforts to measure impact and outcomes of the SU, shaping our strategy and vision with data driven insights.

Transitioning into a different sector, I now work in communications and stakeholder engagement. I also run a small business and I'm really excited to bring my different experiences to Coole Insight and support other unions in navigating the dynamic SU landscape!
