Michael is currently the Chief Executive at the University of Westminster Students’ Union and has over twelve years of senior leadership experience within the Students’ Union sector. Michael is a current member of the Region VIII leadership team of the Association of College Unions International (ACUI), a trustee of two Students’ Unions, a Chair of a youth football club, and the chair of governors within a multi-academy schools trust.

Michael has spent the last 19 years working in the student movement, including two years as a sabbatical officer and a range of roles prominently in advice, opportunities, democracy and representative functions and has served on numerous National Union of Students (NUS) working groups and committees.

Through his experience, knowledge and qualifications, Michael brings a unique perspective and proven ability to the Coole Insight team, including the design and delivery of Union turnaround plans, interim leadership capacity, a qualified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor, a qualified coach, and an accredited Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) facilitator and practitioner.
